April marks the second anniversary of the Northern Ireland international breaking his leg in a 4-0 loss to Manchester City.
Dallas was thriving in the Premier League, and his departure has been felt deeply, with Leeds tumbling out of the division last season.
But no one has suffered more than Dallas, who stated last week that he will not give up on playing this season.
Farke, whose side resumes their Championship title challenge at Watford on Good Friday, is justifiably reluctant to add to the pressure.
“Stuart is a Leeds legend,” he explained. “He has done more for the club than many other players. I’ve been here for a few months, but he’s been here for nine years and has accomplished so much for this club that he deserves all of the support and time he needs to recuperate.
“If there is a chance to see Stuart back on the pitch be sure we’re all greedy to make this happen but it’s too early to say if there’s a chance (of it being this season).”
