Report: Tyreek Hill says Mike McDaniel chastised him after his Chiefs game performance

“You should be the best player in the league, so why are we paying you so much money?”

After the game, Hill was reportedly informed by Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel, who is usually the most composed person in the room, “Reek, you’re supposed to be the best player in the league, and you’ve got this guy putting hands all over you.”

Hurt. McDaniel doesn’t hold back when speaking, does he?

Straight from the source, Tyreek’s performance that day was just insufficient. Even with Hill’s current $30 million salary, 5 catches off 8 targets in a postseason game is just not good enough. Actually, not a single Miami player was prepared for that match. Despite having a remarkably successful regular season, Miami’s offence managed just 7 points in the season’s most important game.

Yes, it was freezing. But hey, what do you know? It’s chilly for both groups!

Anyway, I’ve moved on from that loss. I promise not to think about it every day for the next five months.

Four months have passed since the Miami Dolphins’ NFL Playoffs Wild Card round loss to the Kansas City Chiefs.

It does not, however, imply that the group has moved on.

Miami’s lone touchdown of the day was scored by star receiver Tyreek Hill, who finished with five receptions for 62 yards. A respectable performance on paper. Still, the eyes convey a different message. Tyreek’s efforts that day drew harsh criticism from many fans, and it appears that they weren’t the only ones.
