While many Buffalo Bills players attended Luke Combs’ concert at Highmark Stadium on April 20, quarterback Josh Allen was curiously absent.
However, after Hailee Steinfeld attended nearly every Bills game last season, Allen spent the weekend supporting his girlfriend. A fan-submitted photo to DeuxMoi showed Allen visiting Steinfeld in New Orleans, where she is filming her latest project, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Steinfeld was cast in Ryan Coogler’s mystery otherworldly thriller, which also stars Michael B. Jordan. “What is known has yet to be confirmed by either the studio (Warner Bros. Pictures) or Coogler,” according to THR. According to insiders, the film will be set in the Jim Crow South and may incorporate vampires as well as Southern mystical customs. Jordan may possibly be playing two roles — twin brothers.
“However, some unclear casting information has surfaced. (Wunmi) Mosaku may portray Jordan’s romantic interest (but which twin?); (Jack) O’Connell may play a racist opponent; and Steinfeld’s role is completely unknown.
Steinfeld’s still-untitled film won’t be released until after the 2024 NFL season. The film’s release date is slated for March 7, 2025.
Allen is spending as much time as possible with the “Spiderman: Across the Spider-Verse” star this offseason. The couple went to Paris, France, for Fashion Week last month. The 27-year-old Bills star was initially chastised for pushing ahead of Steinfeld when getting out of the car. Allen later confessed that he escaped from the photographers because his trousers split during dinner.

Allen and Steinfeld began dating last Spring, and the MVP candidate recently purchased a $7.5 million home in Dana Point, California. Allen’s residence is in Monarch Bay, an exclusive gated enclave with access to the Waldorf Astoria’s own Monarch Bay Beach Club.
The new residence is also conveniently placed near Steinfeld. The “Pitch Perfect” actor lives in Encino, a neighbourhood northwest of Los Angeles around 80 miles from Dana Point. According to Realtor.com, the Oscar-nominated actress bought John Fogerty’s former Encino home for $8 million in 2021.

While fans hoped to see the couple on the red carpet at the 2024 Oscars, Allen attended former Bills backup quarterback Kyle Allen’s bachelor party the same weekend. Later in March, Steinfeld attended Allen’s sister Nicala Madden’s gender reveal party.

Allen spoke to reporters on April 18 about the huge shakeup in the Bills locker room. Before free agency, the Bills abruptly cut six veterans. A month later, Buffalo dealt Stefon Diggs, their No. 1 wide receiver, to the Houston Texans.
With so many of his longest-tenured teammates gone, Allen understands he must step up. “I think it’s an opportunity for myself to grow as a leader and to bring along some of these young guys and new guys that we’ve brought into our team,” Allen said in a statement. “That is a very exciting opportunity for me. It will be difficult, but I am eager to take on the challenge.
“It’s strange to imagine that I’m going into my seventh season. But, again, it’s just another chance for me to go out there and be the guy I’m supposed to be and believe I am, and I’ll need help along the way.”

Next, the Bills are expected to find Allen a new weapon in the 2024 NFL draft, which begins on Thursday, April 25. Allen has previously indicated which top-tier wide receiver prospects he prefers, but the final selection rests with general manager Brandon Beane.
“I’d like to think I have input in who we pick, but in reality I don’t,” he told me.
