Buffalo Bills worked out in private with a top prospect at wide out

The Bills have been working out a number of the best wide outs that are eligible for the draft because they are in serious need of depth at wide receiver. Will they have to trade up or will one come to them?

The Bills are reportedly researching South Carolina wide receiver Xavier Legette, who was one of the highlights of this year’s combine, with only hours till the NFL Draft.

The first-round prospect from South Carolina, Ryan Talbot of Syracuse.com, tweeted that NFL Insider Tom Pelissero had revealed the Bills had a private workout with him. The wide receiver class of this year is regarded as one of the best in recent memory.

In the weeks preceding the draft, the Bills have held meetings with a number of other wide receivers. Many draft experts anticipate that, especially in light of the departure of the team’s starting receivers, Stefon Diggs and Gabe Davis, they will select a pass-catcher with their first-round pick, 28th overall, in order to support Josh Allen.
