With the 158th pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, the Miami Dolphins select…
Every year, it appears as though Chris Grier, general manager of the Miami Dolphins, finds a mid-round gem or a rookie undrafted free agent who enters the draft early, performs well, and eventually makes the team. Kader Kohou, a slot cornerback, is the most recent undrafted acorn to succeed at the next level. But traditionally, Grier and his team have always found solid starters in the mid-rounds.
Immediately, a few names spring to mind: linebacker Andrew Van Ginkel (fifth round), defensive tackle Davon Godchaux (5th round), and tight end Durham Smythe (4th round). Now, pass rusher Mohamed Kamara of Colorado State may be the Dolphins’ next mid-round gem; but don’t take my word for it; observe for yourself.
