LeBron James’s longtime opponent just expressed how much he would love to play alongside him.
Whenever the subject of LeBron James comes up, the season does not matter. The 39-year-old is presently training with Team USA in anticipation of the Paris Olympics in 2024.
While clubs around the NBA are getting ready for the 2024–25 season, they are hoping to bring back the gold.
With the exception of Dalton Knecht and Bronny James, the Los Angeles Lakers are the only team in the league that hasn’t added any players and has the same roster as the previous season.
That won’t cut it, and general manager Rob Pelinka must figure out how to make this roster better. As Pelinka assesses the market, a contentious athlete says he would adore to play alongside James.

During his July 11 visit at the ESPY Awards, Golden State forward Draymond Green was asked whether there was a player he would like to play with but hasn’t yet.
Without pausing, he exclaimed, “LeBron, for sure.”
Considering that the two guys were rivals and faced off in four consecutive NBA Finals from 2015 to 2019, that shouldn’t come as a surprise.
Despite going 1-3 in those games, James managed to rally the Cavaliers from a 3-1 deficit. Due to too many flagrant fouls in the 2016 NBA Finals, Green was suspended for a pivotal Game 5. That was the pivotal moment in the series, as Cleveland overcame a 3-1 deficit to win the championship and became the only club in NBA history to do so.
Green and James have been closer since then. The 34-year-old changed representation companies to Klutch Sports back in 2019. They assisted him in securing a $100 million, four-year contract extension with Golden State for 2023.
It seems like Green always says he would love to play with James. Among the best basketball players ever to pick up a ball is the four-time NBA MVP. Anyone who enjoys NBA basketball would love to suit up with the King. Green has now granted this wish, joining a lengthy list of other players.
