Eagles Fans Unite in Heartwarming Support After Heartbreak

Phoenix, Arizona (CBS/AP) — Destruction. Following the Eagles’ Super Bowl loss to the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday night, that was the sentiment among Philadelphia Eagles supporters.

The city had anticipated seeing fans celebrating through the streets of Philadelphia, but some came together to share the heartache.

“We will remain on Broad Street,” declared Caterina Zaralas. “I think Philly has it in their heart to not let the loss get them down.”

They came to Broad Street, says another enthusiast, because “it’s all family, just having fun.”

One fan was spotted by CBS Philadelphia while out for breakfast in Northeast Philadelphia. Four Season Diner’s tiny stacks are causing fans to cry.

One fan remarked, “I don’t know, it stinks.”

“I’m about to have breakfast, dinner whatever it is right now… really sad,” another said.

38–35. The score will live on in the hearts of the supporters for a very long time.

Jalen Hurts had a historic night, but the Birds were unable to complete the victory. Hurts tied a record with three rushing touchdowns and set a Super Bowl record with 70 yards of rushes. He also had one touchdown and 304 yards passing.

“We use this pain, we use this failure to motivate us so we can make it a strength,” Sirianni stated.
