Breaking News: Leeds United has a chance as Leicester City slip up in the Championship…

Leicester City fell farther behind in the Premier League race after losing 1-0 to Bristol City today, while Leeds United maintained their lead ahead of tonight’s encounter at Watford. Anis Mehmeti’s second-half score proved to be the difference between the two sides, as the Foxes’ bad streak continued.

Jamie Vardy, the visitors’ striker and captain, missed many huge chances as they were frustrated in the wet at Ashton Gate. And they were punished in the second quarter when Robins midfielder Mehmeti scored after being given too much room on the edge of the area.

Leicester have now only won one of their previous six Championship games, as their lead at the top has shrunk. It meant Leeds United, who face Watford tonight at Vicarage Road, remained top of the Championship table. The two teams are tied on points, with Daniel Farke’s side having a better goal difference.
