It has been said that Thomas Tuchel could take over for Erik ten Hag as manager of Manchester United.
Thomas Tuchel has already made it clear how he feels about Mason Mount before he might move to Manchester United this summer.
Erik ten Hag is under more and more pressure because of how bad the season has been at Old Trafford.
It’s crazy that Man United has lost 12 league games and was thrown out of the Champions League in the group stage.
Ten Hag could save the season, though, if they beat Manchester City in this month’s FA Cup final.
But it looks like the board plans to get rid of Ten Hag at the end of the season.
A short list of possible managers to replace the Dutch boss has been posted online, and one of the names is shocking.
Many people think that Tuchel, who used to work for Chelsea, should take over Man United now that he is leaving his job at Bayern Munich.
If the Red Devils do fire the 54-year-old manager and then hire the German, Mount could be a very important player for them.
That’s going by his assessment of the 25-year-old when he coached him at Stamford Bridge.
Speaking in 2021, Tuchel said: “He has the full deal. Mentally, in terms of ability and physically and the most important part is his character, he has his feet on the ground and he’s a nice guy.
“He comes to Cobham [Chelsea’s training ground] every day to learn something new and have new adventures.
“It’s a pleasure to have him, be at his side and guide him and help him. It’s amazing, he’s not affected by all the praise. This is maybe the most important part.
“He seems to be a guy who likes the sport and feels an obligation to make the most out of it and he wants it absolutely badly, so it’s a top mix.”
Mount left Chelsea for Man United last summer in an initial move of £55 million.
He’s experienced a difficult debut season at the club, making just 18 appearances in all competitions, having been blighted with a series of injuries.
